Bob Moog Foundation Announces YouTube Premiere of “Celebrating the Legacy of Keith Emerson” TEC Tracks Panel

March 23, 2026 (Asheville, NC) — The Bob Moog Foundation is pleased to announce its upcoming premiere of the “Celebrating the Legacy of Keith Emerson” TEC Tracks panel discussion, recorded in front of a live audience on January 23rd at the 2026 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. The premiere will take place on the Foundation’s YouTube channel at 5:00 PM (ET) on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Keith Noel Emerson was a renowned keyboardist, songwriter, and composer. His first commercial success was performing with the Nice from 1967 to 1970. He then became a founding member of the progressive rock supergroup Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP). Keith Emerson passed away on March 11th, 2016.

The TEC Tracks panel features TOTO keyboardist Steve Porcaro, synthesizer historian Brian Kehew, former Moog Music engineer Rich Walborn, virtuoso musician and composer Rachel Flowers, and Keith Emerson’s fiancée, Mari Kawaguchi. It was moderated by Michelle Moog-Koussa, Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation.

In the discussion, panelists shared personal and professional memories of Keith Emerson, reflections on his impact, and insights into his personal life. During the discussion, images of Keith, along with those of his friends, family, and colleagues, will be shared. A short Q&A from the TEC Tracks audience follows the discussion. Several members from the panel will be in the chat to interact with the premiere audience.

“The Bob Moog Foundation is honored to share this panel discussion celebrating the legendary Keith Emerson ten years after his passing,” noted Michelle Moog-Koussa. “Keith was an extraordinarily talented musician and composer, and his legacy is inextricably intertwined with Bob Moog’s pioneering legacy. We look forward to viewing the premiere on YouTube with the worldwide community of Keith Emerson fans.”

This panel was made possible in part by TEC Tracks, an educational program at The NAMM Show designed for music industry professionals, focusing on advancements in recording technology, live sound, studio operations, and career development.
